Aged Care Services

At Aspire Occupational Therapy, we’re committed to helping you live safely, confidently, and independently in the comfort of your own home. If you receive Support at Home (formerly Home Care Packages) or Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC), we can assist with improving mobility, maintaining independence with personal care and daily tasks, encouraging community participation, and supporting you to continue doing the activities you enjoy.

With extensive experience in aged care, we support individuals living with dementia, neurological conditions, physical impairments, and a range of other health challenges. Do you have a waitlist? Are you accepting new refferals?

At Aspire Occupational Therapy, we currently have capacity to accept new referrals for both NDIS and Support at Home clients. There is no waitlist at this time, and we aim to book your initial appointment as soon as possible.

What is a functional capacity assessment?

A Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) is a report completed by an Occupational Therapist to assess how you manage daily activities and what supports you may need. It’s often used for NDIS access, plan reviews, or to request funding for supports like therapy, equipment, or home modifications.

Do you offer telehealth?

During your first appointment, we’ll talk about your goals, challenges, and daily routines. We’ll assess how you manage activities like self-care, mobility, and household tasks. This helps us understand what supports or recommendations you might need. We can also begin planning therapy, reports, or referrals from this session.

How are services billed under NDIS and for Aged Care?

We follow the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and the relevant Support At Home guidelines. We’ll provide a service agreement and clear information about session costs, travel fees (if applicable), and report writing charges. We'll also coordinate with your plan manager or care coordinator as needed.

Yes, we offer telehealth appointments for certain services, such as follow-ups, reviews, and some assessments. This is a flexible option for clients who may have difficulty attending in-person sessions or prefer virtual support.
